We start with a heavy duty steel main frame. Then we weld on walls
and roof made from welded 1.5" square tube and 14 ga sheet metal. All
frame joints are welded 360 degrees. All sheet metal joints are
continuosly welded and the sheet metal skip welded to the frame every
10". This makes an extremely strong foundation for the entire unit. After
painting, insulating, and system installation, the exterior is applied.
We can use almost any covering designed for trailer or house construction
from log cabin to simulated stucco. The awnings and hitch are designed
for quick removal and the hitch can be reversed to the rear of the trailer
to push the trailer into tight spots. With hitch and awnings removed (10
minutes) the 795A trailer will only need a 10'x8' space and the B model will need 10'x9'.
The only major difference between the A & B models is the B is 8" wider. If space
is not a problem - get the B. The price is the same.
The Interior
The working area is designed to meet most mobile food service codes while still loking good
and being easy to use. The whole interior with the exception of the electrical components can be
scrubbed and hosed down. The wood paneling has been heavily varnished until it is smooth and
waterproof. The interior corners have been filled and sanded to eliminate those hard to clean
cracks. Various ventilation options (including A/C and heating) keep the operators comfortable
while the class 1 hood removes the smoke and oil mist.
The unit is built around the NT Products KKC4 Kettle Korn cooker. The cooker has 1.5" of
high temperature insulation and ducted exhaust so you can cook 80 lbs of Kettle Korn per hour
without cooking yourself. The cabinets in the 795A model hold 400 lbs of corn and all the supplies and utensils
needed with a separate compartments for cleaning supplies. The 795B model has about 50% more storage. The built-in 12 volt converter supplies
power to everything but the A/C. If a 110 volt 15A outlet is not available,
the trailer can battery power (without A/C) for up to 6 continuous hours before
needing to be plugged in. Opening up takes about 10 minutes and cleaning up takes about 1 hour.
